'Little Miss Eyeflap' ('Skylappjenta'), by Iram Haq, won this years Norwegian Short Competition during Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF). SF Norge and Storm Studios produced the feature (see clip below).
'Little Miss Eyeflap' is a personal project from Iram Haq. The story is about a young, second generation immigrant girl 'Little Miss Eyeflap'. She needs to choose between her own desires and dreams and the prescribed standards of behaviour dictated by her family and culture.
The unique visual quality of the film has been created by the Art Department at Storm Studios (Nikolai Lockertsen - Art Director, and Endre Skandfer - Production Designer).
Iram Haq is a well known actress, and in 2004 wrote the script for the short film "Trofast", directed by Trond Fausa Aurvaag. 'Little Miss Eyeflap' is Iram Haq's directing debut and highlights Iram´s unique talent for telling stories that truly move the viewer.
A jury appointed by BIFF announced the winner. 'Little Miss Eyeflap' will be distributed in Norway through Film & Kino's S-film agreement.
